How to draw Long beard in 4 steps tutorial

Following materials for this cartoon tutorials:

Pencil : Mechanical pencil 0.5mm (HB,2B & 4B) , Artline drawing pencil.
Newspaper : Ivery drawing canvass (Thickness : 210 gsm)

Texture : Smooth Surface, Colour : Ievry white.
Eraser : Ordinary eraser,Tombow monozero eraser, Kneaded eraser.
Blending tool : Soft castor, cotton fiber/tissue paper, Blending postage stamp.

Step by Step tutorials

Footstep 1 : Draw Basic Outlines

Drawing a beard outline is a petty easier, then you can use any method in which you are good, here I'yard using free hand method to depict outline. Y'all tin can use HB pencil or lighter form pencil for this, also endeavor to reach maximum accuracy to avert further problem in shading.

Pace 2 : Light shading/ First layer

After making the outline, will do light and aeroplane shedding with the help of HB pencil, call up that the shading should exist very light so that information technology tin alloy well, use back and forth motion for consistency. Blend with soft castor or cotton.

Step three : Darker shading/ 2nd layer

Using 2B pencil, we will now draw a lot of small lines in the direction of pilus. In lighter area we will shade with mechanical pencil and for Dark area we will use 8B pencil with texture of hair. Step 5 : Final shading

Even after so much layering, you will run into that there is a demand to shading and darkening, for this, using 8B or 10B pencil will shade in the night area. Always remember that the darker the reference, the more layering is required for realistic shading.
